Gambling operator group Entain has said customer-friendly sports results during Q4 will not affect its full-year guidance.
The development comes after Flutter last week said costly NFL results would affect US revenues by $370m.
Entain said BetMGM, which it jointly operates alongside MGM Resorts International, still expects FY24 adjusted EBITDA guidance of -US$123m.
For the full year, BetMGM adjusted EBITDA is still expected to be around -$250m after first-half EBITDA of -$123m.
Entain, the owner of brands such as Ladbrokes and Coral, said group EBITDA is still expected to be towards the top of the guidance range of between $1.04bn and £1.09bn.
“As scheduled, further details on trading performance and outlook for 2025 will be provided by BetMGM and Entain on February 4 and March 6, 2025, respectively,” Entain said.
