A kidnapping and shooting incident occurred at the Clark Freeport and Special Economic Zone in Central Luzon, Philippines!

The location is near the entrance to Koreatown, Clark Hills Village, City of Angeles. It is reported that a Chinese national was kidnapped and another person was shot dead. The specific details of the incident are unclear, and the police have not yet confirmed whether it was the hostage who shot back at the kidnappers, or if the kidnappers shot the hostage's bodyguard, driver, or a relative during the incident.

A 29-second video circulating online, allegedly filmed by a resident near Koreatown, captures the event.

The incident reportedly occurred in the evening under dim streetlights, and the filming angle was too distant to clearly capture the entire process. Initially, a black SUV is parked by the roadside, followed by a male voice scolding and a female exclamation.

In the video, a car resembling a taxi appears, and about 3 to 5 meters behind it stands a man in white clothing who then walks towards the taxi. At this moment, two gunshots are heard, and the man in white dodges, followed by a rapid increase in gunfire, suggesting an exchange of fire.

In the video, the man in white moves away from the taxi as the gunfire continues. The person filming is clearly startled by the gunshots, causing the camera to shake slightly.

As the video continues, both the vehicle and the gunfire disappear from the frame, but the gunfight goes on, with at least 50 gunshots heard. The video suggests that high-caliber submachine guns, possibly similar to M16s, were used in the shootout, indicating that the kidnappers might be armed with such weapons.

An experienced driver, after viewing the video, noted that the nature of the gunshots indicates that both the kidnappers and the hostages were armed, suggesting that the shootout involved the hostage and their bodyguards or drivers exchanging fire with the kidnappers.

The vehicle resembling a taxi might actually be the hostage's car, rather than a real taxi.

There is no definitive evidence yet regarding the identity of the victims, but analysis suggests that the kidnapping might involve Chinese nationals associated with offshore gambling operations.

Despite this, the police and media in Angeles City, Philippines, have yet to officially respond to the incident or release more information.
