iGaming and sports betting solutions IGT PlayDigital marked significant milestones in November and December with market expansion in Portugal and Canada and dominating performance on the U.S. iGaming charts.
IGT PlayDigital introduced its gaming content to Portugal, offering players access to land-based favorites online. Titles like Cleopatra, Cash Eruption, Temple of Fire, and Cleopatra Hyper Hits, alongside hits such as Gold Digger and Tropical Bonanza, have gone line in the country.
With a strong land-based presence in Portugal, this launch bridges the gap for players eager to play the titles in an online format.
IGT PlayDigital also advanced its Prize Engine in Canada, making the player engagement tool available to both commercial and lottery operators. This move allows operators to deliver tailored campaigns using any game on PlayDigital platforms, aligning with responsible gaming practices.
The Prize Engine, part of IGT’s Engagement Platform, is one of the marketing tools the company provides to operators to enhance the player experience.
In the latest Eilers & Krejcik U.S. Online Game Performance Reports, IGT PlayDigital held the top two positions in both November and December. Cash Eruption secured the #1 spot for the 10th time in 12 months, while newcomer Mystery of the Lamp Treasure Oasis climbed to second place in November, just one month after its October 2024 launch.
Cash Eruption maintained its leading position into December, capping off a year of consistent success for IGT in the competitive U.S. market.
