Bristol’s Hard Rock casino finished its first full month at its permanent location with record monthly revenues — and not just by a little.
Figures from the Virginia lottery released Wednesday show the casino made $20,649,019 in total “adjusted gross revenue” (AGR). That’s revenue after payouts to customers.
The total is 27% higher than the monthly record from before the casino moved to its permanent location in mid-November. The take in March 2024 was slightly less than $16.3 million.
Gamblers provided $17,091,763 in slot machine revenues. The new location has half again as many slot machines as the temporary location did. That’s a record by about 30% above any full month prior to the move.
