Entrepreneur Giuseppe Cipriani celebrated the progress of his real estate project Cipriani Resort Residences & Casino.
Uruguay.- The construction of the Cipriani Ocean Resort, Club Residences & Casino Punta del Este is progressing steadily, and the Italian businessman Giuseppe Cipriani celebrated the advancements during an exclusive celebration at his farm "Gin Tonic", in La Barra along with other businessmen, celebrities, and socialites who vacation in the East. The works began in January 2023 and the first phase of the complex is expected to be inaugurated by the end of 2025.
The project, designed by the renowned architect Rafael Viñoly in collaboration, will breathe new life into the site of the historic Hotel San Rafael. It will be completed with three towers and currently, the first tower is in the excavation stage, where a total of 65 apartments are planned. With a height of 320 m and between 30 to 60 floors, depending on the tower, it will make this development the second tallest building in Latin America.
From the company headed by the Italian, they detailed: “Residents will enjoy a life of elegance with access to a variety of experiences that the resort has to offer. The interiors were conceived by architect Hassen Balut and are designed to enhance the picturesque views of Punta del Este and its surroundings, with custom kitchens specifically designed for Cipriani and marble floors imported from Italy. Each residence offers expansive ocean views of Playa Brava or Playa Mansa and high ceilings of 3.4 meters, with private terraces reserved for half and full-floor homes”.
The luxury resort is conceived as the largest in South America with extraordinary amenities spread over 17,000 square meters, which among other services, includes restaurants, indoor and outdoor pools, a state-of-the-art golf simulator, private bowling alley, squash court, fully equipped gym, spa, and an exclusive beach club.

Regarding the casino, the company describes that the Casino Cipriani, “combines luxury and innovation in a truly extraordinary and exciting experience that revives the charm of the golden age of entertainment venues.”
“A destination for entertainment and elegance, the casino offers the ultimate in gaming entertainment with more than three hundred stations in an environment that reflects the tradition of Cipriani”, they claim on the official project website.
They also explained that the design captures the elegant sophistication of classic Italian nautical style, adding a touch of timeless Art Deco sophistication and inside, “a private club evokes the spirit of the historic nightlife of Punta del Este, offering an intimate and seductive atmosphere for the most demanding guests, completed by a private restaurant”.
The presale of the apartments of the complex Cipriani Ocean Resort, Club Residences & Casino, in Punta del Este, opened at the end of March 2023.
