All public workers of the SPA will perform temporary duties in the Undersecretary of Authorizations to expedite procedures.
Brazil.- The Secretary of Prizes and Betting of the Ministry of Finance, Regis Dudena, issued an ordinance (SPA/MF No. 70) regarding the temporary collaboration of workers from the Secretary of Prizes and Betting with the duties of the Undersecretary of Authorizations.
According to the regulations, all permanent public servants working in the Secretary of Prizes and Betting will begin to work in collaboration with the Undersecretary of Authorizations to analyze the documentation of companies that requested authorization to operate counterparty betting and online games.
The collaboration will continue until the completion of the analysis of the requested information and documents, such as the establishment of the financial reserve, the payment in current currency of the minimum social capital of R$ 30m (USD 4.9m) and the declaration of lawful origin of the resources that make up the social capital, the minimum equity of R$ 30m and the implementation of the customer service system.
The ordinance also defines that the Undersecretary of Monitoring and Inspection of the Secretary of Prizes and Betting will be responsible for evaluating the requested technical certificates.
