Colombia.- Last week, the operational return of the Cúcuta Lottery was announced. This announcement is now followed by that of another Colombian department lottery that announced a draw for next month. It is the Nariño Lottery which announced an extraordinary draw that seeks to reposition the brand.
The draw will take place on February 15, 2025 at 11:45 p.m. and will be broadcast live on Channel 1, offering a grand prize of COP 14,000m (USD 3.2m) and a total prize pool exceeding COP 32,000m (USD 7.2m).
The manager of the Nariño Lottery, Eden Melo, highlighted that the return of the lottery is accompanied by a technological renewal that will ensure greater security and transparency in the purchase of tickets. These will cost COP 18,000 (USD 4.5) and will be available throughout the country, prioritizing distribution in the Nariño department.
Twelve percent of the generated revenue will be allocated to strengthen public health initiatives, contributing to the well-being and quality of life of the people of Nariño.
As highlighted by the entity, this project is the result of a joint effort between the Governor of Nariño, Luis Alfonso Escobar, and the Nariño Lottery, who achieved the authorization from Coljuegos for the distribution and sale of the tickets of this historic lottery, which will be available throughout the country, with special priority in the department.
