The Brazilian entity and its Argentine counterpart held a meeting within the framework of ICE Barcelona to reach a cooperation agreement to improve safe and responsible gaming practices.
Spain.- In Barcelona, during the ICE event, a key meeting took place between two South American entities. The CEO of State Lotteries of Paraná (Lottopar), Daniel Romanowski, and the Operations Director of the entity, Fabio Veiga, met with the president of Buenos Aires City Lottery (LOTBA), Jesús Mariano Acevedo, and the manager of Modernization and Information Technologies, Sebastián Vivot.
During the meeting, the institutions exchanged experiences and information in various sectors and a possible cooperation agreement between both entities aimed at strengthening responsible gaming actions and integrity in sports betting.
"These actions by Lottopar reinforce the commitment of the institution to always seek the best international practices in the global lottery sector, but also to contribute with other lotteries around the world for the development of this expanding market with increasingly safe rules and regulations for players and social return for the entire population," stated the Brazilian entity.
Taking advantage of their stay in the Catalan city, the authorities of Lottopar also took the opportunity to visit the headquarters of BMM Test Labs in Barcelona, to learn more about the processes that certify the safety and reliability of lottery and betting games. BMM Test Labs is one of the testing and certification laboratories accredited by Lottopar.
"We were able to verify firsthand that the security, transparency, and prevention of fraud in betting and gaming is only possible thanks to the work of these laboratories. That is why we were the first lottery institution in Brazil to accredit these laboratories, so that in Paraná the games are safe, fair, and free of fraud," highlighted the general director, Daniel Romanowski.
