The sport, a passion of the South American country, leads the ranking of preferences when it comes to sports betting.
Brazil.- In few countries in the world does soccer awaken such great passions as in Brazil. But that passion now adds new features since a recent survey published by the website Aposta Hub showed that 84.2 percent of sports bets made in the country are related to soccer.
Soccer easily leads the position of favorite sport among Brazilian bettors. Basketball occupies the second place, with 7.2 percent of the volume of entries on iGaming platforms. In third place are electronic sports (eSports), with 6.1 percent of national preference. It is also worth noting mixed martial arts (MMA), which captured 2.5 percent of the bets.
According to the same survey, sports betting is not the preferred modality by users. Online casino games lead in popularity in the sector, with 79.1 percent of respondents saying they prefer these iGames over betting, which is more popular among 18.8 percent of those interviewed.

Among casino games, the Aposta Hub survey concluded that slot machines are the most popular games, and more than 66 percent of users claim to bet on online slots. The survey also highlights other highly demanded games such as roulette (21 percent), bingo (7.9 percent), and poker (4.4 percent).
The close relationship between soccer and betting houses is evident at the time of commercial agreements. After Palmeiras announced the arrival of Sportingbet as a new main sponsor, all the teams that will compete in the Brasileirão will have sponsorship agreements with companies from the sector for the next season. It will be the first time that a productive sector achieves this perfect presence by being associated with all the first division teams.
