Phil Boyle, president/CEO of Suffolk OTB and Jake’s 58 Casino Hotel, was named the next chairperson of the New York Gaming Association, according to a news release.
The New York Gaming Association advocates for and advances the interests of its members at racing and gaming venues throughout the state, according to the association. It works in partnership with state government on long-term strategies to increase revenues for education, support the racing, breeding and gaming industries, and generate new jobs and revenue for New Yorkers.
“Phil’s proven leadership abilities, exceptional communication skills, and extensive governmental and policy experience will help our industry prosper and deliver even greater benefits for students and taxpayers throughout New York,” said Michael Kane, president and executive director of the New York Gaming Association in a news release.
