ESPN Bet has officially launched in Washington D.C., in collaboration with Penn Entertainment and Monumental Sports & Entertainment, providing a sports betting platform for local fans.
As part of the agreement, ESPN Bet has been designated as the betting partner for Monumental's teams, including the Washington Capitals, Wizards, and Mystics.
The platform is accessible via mobile apps and the web, offering a variety of betting markets covering global sports and leagues.
Worth noting: Features include live betting, custom promotions, and account linking, enabling users to connect their ESPN Bet and ESPN accounts to manage bets within the ESPN ecosystem.
Penn Entertainment has gained market access in Washington D.C. through its collaboration with Monumental Sports & Entertainment.

This release follows ESPN Bet's entry into North Carolina in March 2024, where the company became the exclusive betting operator for the Wells Fargo Championship through a partnership with Quail Hollow Club.
The launch in North Carolina coincided with the legalization of sports betting in the state and featured events that attracted local fans.
