A 33-year-old Chinese woman was kidnapped in General Trias City, Cavite Province, Philippines, and her whereabouts are currently unknown.
According to the report from the 4A Police District Office, the woman is a resident of Barangay Navarro. Preliminary investigations revealed that at 3 AM on the day of the incident, nine unidentified men arrived in two vehicles at the victim's residence, forcibly entered her room, and kidnapped her.
The kidnappers not only took the victim but also stole some of her personal belongings, including her mobile phone. Subsequently, the suspects drove away from the scene in the victim's vehicle.
At the time of the incident, the victim was living with her domestic staff and driver, who were unable to prevent the kidnapping.
The General Trias City Police Station reported to the media on January 23 that the investigation and follow-up actions are currently underway, but no further details have been disclosed yet.
The police are calling on anyone with information to come forward to help rescue the victim and bring the criminals to justice as soon as possible.
