"The Journey of the GOAT" was designed by Codere and Archer Troy in November and now presents its second part.
Mexico.- The Grupo Codere, a multinational operator in the gaming and sports betting sector, continues to enhance its advertising campaign "The Journey of the GOAT" in Mexico, introduced in November as a continuation of "All the Goats are at Codere".
The campaign was designed by the local agency Archer Troy and aims in this new version to continue with the concept of the Goats (Greatest of all time), which, in this second part, shifts the narrative to the universe of casinos, while the first part depicted the journey of a football fan in the world of sports betting.
According to the developers of the concept, the storytelling of "The Journey of the GOAT" celebrates those who "risk intelligently, enjoy every moment, and turn their bets into memorable stories".
They added that the experience at Codere "transcends the digital, connecting with the essence of what it means to be a true player: someone who enjoys both the journey and the final outcome".
The production of the second series of videos was handled by the production company LaDoble. "Codere and Archer Troy reinforce their commitment to offering captivating campaigns, transporting viewers to the vibrant world of casinos. This is just the second chapter of an exciting campaign that promises to deliver an iconic game, combined with excitement and adrenaline," they assured at the time of presenting the campaign.

When presenting the campaign, Archer Troy explained: "How does this journey begin? In sports, being a Goat is much more than winning. It is the result of a journey full of challenges, bold decisions, and key moments. This same spirit is translated into the experience that Codere offers its players: each bet and each play are part of their own journey towards greatness. The Journey of the Goat puts the spotlight on the fans and how they live that experience at Codere. An experience that transcends the screen and connects them with the excitement, strategy, and satisfaction of making decisions that lead them to victory."
The rating agency Moody’s Ratings has decided to withdraw the corporate ratings (CFR) 'Caa2' and the default probability rating (PDR) 'Caa2-PD' from the Spanish-origin company. The measure, which also affects the 'Caa2' instrumental rating of the senior secured bonds due in 2028 issued by Codere Finance 2 (Luxembourg), is due to the lack of sufficient information to maintain these ratings.
According to the agency, the withdrawal of the ratings is due to the "insufficiency or inadequacy" of the information available to support the previously granted ratings. In particular, Moody's has pointed out that governance issues within Codere, stemming from the recent replacement of its audit and the delay in presenting the audited annual accounts for 2023, were key factors in making this decision.
