Recently, Thai police dismantled a criminal gang suspected of human trafficking and engaging in illegal prostitution activities, successfully rescuing two underage victims of human trafficking.

The gang used an online website to provide a platform for "clients" to engage in prostitution. The operation has been running for 4 years, with 46,000 women engaging in illegal prostitution activities through this online website, generating over 100 million Thai Baht in revenue, including more than 3 billion Thai Baht related to prostitution transactions.

Thai police arrested 5 administrators (main suspects) of this illegal online prostitution website. The gang had a strong computer background, had been involved in technology-related businesses, and used techniques such as establishing base stations to make the website and its illegal prostitution advertisements "invisible" online, with IP addresses located abroad, making it difficult for the police to track them.

The gang collected fees for prostitution and advertisement through a virtual identity verification system, with fans recharging through virtual identity accounts, and these fees were also "laundered" as game recharges. Meanwhile, the website continuously changed its IP addresses to evade cyber police tracking.

Thai police also arrested a Laotian suspect (female) involved in human trafficking. This suspect advertised on the website to find target clients, luring girls under 18 from Laos to serve "clients" and coaxing them into illegal prostitution activities.

The suspect earned a commission of 100,000 to 200,000 Thai Baht per month, having done so for 2 years. Currently, Thai police have searched and seized assets of this criminal gang located in Bangkok and surrounding areas, including cash, land ownership, luxury cars, gold, computers, mobile phones, and many other valuable assets, totaling about 34 million Thai Baht in bank accounts, including other assets related to money laundering totaling over 40 million Thai Baht.
