The Thai government recently raided a gambling den in Nakhon Nayok, arresting over 100 gamblers, many of whom were elderly. The raid was carried out by the special operations team of the Ministry of Administrative Affairs, around 11 PM on February 3rd.
According to the Thai police's social media shares, during the raid, police stormed the tightly secured gambling venue, where the parking lot was filled with motorcycles and cars.
Upon entering the building, police found over 100 people engaged in various forms of gambling, many of whom were elderly.
As the raid began, the scene descended into chaos, with many gamblers trying to flee, some even hiding under tables, but ultimately none were able to escape.
The venue offered multiple forms of gambling and was equipped with several air conditioners to ensure the comfort of the gamblers. Additionally, the site was installed with numerous surveillance cameras.
Meanwhile, the Bangkok police also launched a similar raid, destroying a notorious gambling den operated by "Kiat Don Mueang" (also known as Pan Uai), arresting over 100 people involved in the traditional Thai gambling game "Hi-Lo". Although this gambling site had been shut down multiple times, it continued to operate stubbornly.
