Thailand's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin instructed the Ministry of Interior to collaborate with Nakhon Nayok Province in a large-scale operation, successfully raiding a large illegal casino located in a rice field.
According to Thai media, the casino had been operating 24 hours a day, attracting a large number of gamblers, but had repeatedly managed to evade police raids.
According to police investigations, the casino transported gamblers using taxis, minibuses, and vans, and offered gambling games such as Dragon Tiger and Hi-Lo.
The casino had been in operation for nearly a year and had adopted measures such as closing early to avoid law enforcement actions. However, this time, after meticulous planning, the police successfully dismantled the casino and arrested more than 200 gamblers.
In the operation, the police also seized over 2 million Thai Baht in cash and chips, and a large amount of gambling equipment was confiscated. All individuals involved have now been formally charged.
This operation highlights the Thai government's determination in combating illegal gambling and maintaining social order, and has received widespread attention.
