The final beam of the first phase of construction of Point Place Casino’s $50 million expansion was placed in a “topping ceremony” hosted by the Oneida Indian Nation on Tuesday.
The expansion was announced in February 2024. At the time, the casino said its guests demanded additional amenities and that there was economic growth happening across Central New York.
The construction will double the existing game floor, create a new multi-story hotel, add a new full-service restaurant, reimagine the Fireside Lounge with a 360-degree view of its fireplace and cozy seating, double parking and introduce a new retail space.
