An official from the Dali Power Supply Management Committee revealed that after Thailand cut off the electricity supply to Dali, the city immediately took measures to import electricity from Laos to replace the Thai electricity.
Currently, the electricity connection work is urgently underway, and it is expected that more than 90% of the power supply can be restored tonight.
The official stated that since Thailand cut off the power supply at 9 am on February 5th, the city government has started emergency operations, planning to restore normal power supply before 7 pm tonight. It is expected that the power supply within the city area will be basically restored to 100% from 4 pm to 5 pm.
However, for the Feeder-2 area, which is far from the Laos power grid, there is still about 25% of the work to be completed, and it may take a week to fully recover.
Overall, tonight, more than 90% of Dali's electricity will come from Laos, and the overall recovery situation is good.
