Officials from the Border Guard Force (BGF) headquarters in Karen State, Myawaddy, revealed that they plan to repatriate about 1000 people stranded in the Shwe Kokko scam syndicate park each month, including citizens from various countries.
As part of the first batch of repatriation, BGF has prepared to send 61 people, including Chinese citizens, to Thailand. Relevant government agencies have completed all necessary reviews and paperwork, and the first group will be repatriated in batches at an appropriate time.
Colonel Naimo Zaw, a spokesperson for BGF, stated in an interview at 11 AM that day: "The repatriation of the first 61 people is ready, and the relevant government departments have completed the review and paperwork. All arrangements are in place, and the personnel will be handed over to the Thai side."
