According to Thai media reports, on February 6th, the police in Mae Sot District, Tak Province, in collaboration with the special task force stationed in Mae Sot, local administrative departments, and customs departments, seized a batch of online gambling equipment.
This batch of gambling equipment was loaded on a truck, ready to be transported to a casino in Myanmar, specifically the KK cyber fraud park. Under the strict surveillance of the Mae Sot Border Command Center, the vehicle did not escape the eyes of law enforcement officers and was intercepted on the spot. Currently, Thailand is vigorously cracking down on scam gangs within Myanmar, vowing to completely eradicate them.
Law enforcement officers have transported the confiscated gambling equipment to the 346th Border Patrol Police Company for detailed registration, which includes several baccarat tables, computer monitors, playing cards, and other related equipment.
This batch of equipment will subsequently be handed over to the Mae Sot Police Station for legal processing. As for the truck driver involved, he claimed that he was only hired to transport goods to Mae Sot and was unaware of the contents of the cargo.
