The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) recently announced that foreigners will be prohibited from participating in any licensed online gambling games. This ban is aimed at strictly enforcing President Marcos's restrictive policies on Philippine offshore gaming operators.
PAGCOR has issued a notice to gaming system service providers and streaming media suppliers, emphasizing that local online gambling services are limited to meeting the domestic market demand in the Philippines.
PAGCOR explicitly stated that all gaming operators are not allowed to provide any services or games to players outside the country.
Furthermore, PAGCOR also warned that if an electronic gaming operator violates this regulation, once verified, their certification will be immediately revoked. This measure demonstrates the Philippine government's determination to regulate and standardize online gambling activities.
