The employees of Casinos del Río – Emprendimientos Crown S.A. express their discontent with insufficient salaries that do not cover basic needs and denounce abusive working conditions. Additionally, they criticize the lack of action from authorities and unions in response to the situation.
Argentina.- The workers of Casinos del Río – Emprendimientos Crown S.A. have strongly protested against the alarming salary and labor conditions they are facing. With a basic salary of AR$620,000 (USD 586), they claim they cannot cover essential daily expenses such as education, health insurance, rent, and basic groceries. “Our remuneration is insufficient to sustain a dignified life, despite the effort and commitment we show every day at our jobs,” stated the affected employees.
In a complaint particularly targeting the Viedma branch, the workers point to a hostile and abusive environment created by managers from various departments, who allegedly have the backing of the management led by Jorge Pacheco. According to testimonies, this treatment is reinforced by the complicit attitude of the Union of Gambling Workers (ALEARA) and its leader, Ariel Fassione, who, according to the employees, have left the workers unprotected and unsupported.
The complaint also includes criticisms towards the Río Negro Lottery and the Labor Secretary, whom the workers accuse of being more focused on political interests and private businesses than on protecting labor rights.

In this context, the recent inauguration of the new casino in Viedma, according to the testimony of the workers, far from providing relief, has deepened the injustices and mistreatment towards the employees, who find themselves increasingly marginalized.
