The initiatives of the Neuquén establishment include a comprehensive dissemination campaign, both internal and external, and an interactive trivia.
Argentina.- In commemoration of the International Day of Responsible Gaming, celebrated on February 17, the Casino Magic of the province of Neuquén organized initiatives related to the promotion of healthy habits and the prevention of problem gambling for collaborators and customers.
As part of the campaign, the casino organized the Responsible Gaming Week, which began on February 10 and will extend until the 17th, featuring a awareness campaign aimed at ensuring visitors enjoy gaming responsibly. Casino Magic will also actively work to raise awareness about the risks associated with problem gambling.
Among the initiatives to be carried out, a comprehensive dissemination campaign stands out, both internally and externally, to reach all its collaborators and customers with the prevention message. Additionally, through an interactive trivia on responsible gaming, customers are invited to learn in a fun and dynamic way about how to play safely.
On the other hand, the company joins the "Green Light to Responsible Gaming" campaign, lighting up the facilities with the slogan promoted by the Association of State Lotteries and Casinos of Argentina (ALEA). This gesture is part of a joint action across the country, aiming to unify the message of responsible gaming.
Casino Magic has venues in Neuquén, Centenario, and San Martín de los Andes. The branch in the city of Centenario opened its doors in 2024. After several months of anticipation, the casino inaugurated with the presence of special guests, cocktails, and live shows. The venue features over 600 slots and a wide selection of slot machines. Additionally, it offers traditional gaming tables for playing poker, blackjack, and roulette available for enthusiasts.
The directors of the State Lottery of Paraná (Lottopar) and the Ibero-American Corporation of State Lotteries and Betting (Cibelae) met in Foz do Iguaçu to conduct technical visits and prepare the ground for the largest responsible gaming event in Latin America, which will take place in June 2025. The city, famous for hosting the Iguazú Falls, will be the venue for the meeting that will bring together representatives from lottery institutions and companies from the sector from around the world.
During the visit, the directors assessed the local infrastructure, including event centers, transport logistics, and lodging, to ensure the event's success. For Rogério Nogueira, financial director of Lottopar, the event will be an opportunity not only to promote responsible gaming practices but also to boost the economy and tourism of the region. "It will be an event that will place Paraná at the center of discussions on safe and sustainable practices in the lottery sector, while also bringing benefits to local tourism," highlighted Nogueira.
Soon, both entities will announce the complete program of the event, which promises to be a milestone in strengthening good practices in the field of state lotteries and betting.
