Major Naimo Zuo, spokesperson for the Border Guard Force (BGF), announced that the BGF has decided to establish a special operations committee aimed at combating telecommunications fraud and effectively curbing such illegal activities.
Major Naimo Zuo pointed out that the main task of the committee is to take concrete measures to apprehend and deport individuals involved in telecom fraud activities.
Previously, the Thai side had revealed that it was preparing to issue arrest warrants for senior BGF personnel, including Colonel Suoqi Du, accusing them of involvement in human trafficking crimes.
This context has led to the aforementioned statement by the BGF, showing its intention to strengthen internal governance in response to telecom fraud issues amid external pressures.
