Meeting of the recreational machine sector in Spain: FEMARA announces the program of the VI Open Forum

Spain.- The National Federation of Recreational and Gambling Machines (FEMARA) has released the program for the VI Femara Open Forum which will be held on February 26th at the Ateneo de Madrid. In the context of its 45th anniversary, the organization will celebrate the sixth edition of this benchmark event in the sector.

The meeting will begin at 9 in the morning with the reception and accreditation of the attendees, followed by an institutional opening by Manuel Fernández Berciano, president of FEMARA, and Javier Calderón Beltrán, director of Companies and Organizations of the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE).

The day's agenda includes two round tables and a keynote lecture. The first round table will be moderated by Jesus Mª Molina del Villar, general secretary of FEMARA and will address the current situation and needs of the hospitality industry and its impact on the recreational sector. Participants will include José Luis Perea Blanquer, general secretary of the National Federation of Associations of Self-Employed Workers (ATA), Rafael Ferrando Martínez, general secretary of the Confederation of Hospitality Business Owners Valencia (CONHOSTUR), Enrique Rosas Berlanga, president of the Andalusian Federation of Associations of Recreational Machines, Salons and Leisure (ANMARE), and Ramón Penadés Useros, president of the Federation of Associations of Recreational Machines of Castilla-La Mancha (FAMACASMAN).

The day will continue with a keynote lecture by Laureano Turienzo Esteban, president of the Spanish Retail Association and Ibero-American Retail Circle.

In the second round table, moderated by Manuel Fernández Berciano, president of FEMARA, the challenges of machine operators in hospitality will be analyzed. Participants will include Xavi Serra Adelmar, president of the Spanish Association of Recreational and Gaming Machines (ASESFAM), Enrique Hevia Laguna, head of legal services of the Díaz Carbajosa Group, Daniel García Marín, Commercial Director of Marinocio, and Iñaki Castillo Litago, president of the Guipuzcoan Association of Recreational Machine Companies (AGUIMAR).

The closing of the event will be led by Irune Suberbiola Garbizu, general secretary of AGUIMAR, and Ramón Cubián Martínez, general director of land of the Community of Madrid, who will provide the conclusions of the day. After the closing, the participants of the meeting will enjoy a cocktail lunch.

The General Directorate of Gambling Regulation (DGOJ), belonging to the Ministry of Social Rights, Consumer Affairs and Agenda 2030, celebrated on February 6, in collaboration with the Public Treasury and the Executive Service of the Commission for the Prevention of Money Laundering and Monetary Offenses (Sepblac), the first sectoral day on the prevention of money laundering and financing of terrorism with online gaming operators.
