Authorities of the IPLyC Buenos Aires met with representatives from the La Plata and San Isidro racetracks to work on a series of advancements.
Argentina.- The head of the Provincial Institute of Lottery and Casinos (IPLyC) of the Province of Buenos Aires, Gonzalo Atanasof, and the general advisor of the Government of the Province of Buenos Aires, Santiago Pérez Teruel, held an important meeting with representatives of the La Plata and San Isidro Racetracks.
According to Atanasof's social media, the meeting was “to work on the implementation of a series of very important advancements for the turf industry”.
“From this table, we will work on the development of a new application and on the possibility of incorporating new markets, with a secure and efficient system,” he explained.
The head of the Buenos Aires IPLyC detailed that the intention behind these advancements is "to position the turf towards the future to be competitive in the present".
This initiative adds to the use of electronic payment methods to place bets at Official Agencies, Racetracks and their respective horse racing agencies and gaming rooms, using interoperable QR linked to debit card or money in account, an advancement that was approved last week to begin implementation in Buenos Aires.
“This measure also aims at preventing tax evasion and money laundering behaviors in gambling bets, as well as the diversion of economic benefits derived from social plans or programs,” they explained.
