Total gross gambling revenue across land-based and online verticals in Denmark rose 6.9 per cent year-on-year in 2024 to DKK7.3bn (£810.8m).
The figure reported by the gambling regulator, Spillemyndigheden, is up from 2023’s total of DKK6.8bn (£758.2m).
Online casino showed the most growth year-on-year, with GGR rising 14.7 per cent from DKK3.1bn (£343.3m) to DKK3.5bn (£393.8m).
From there, comparatively marginal increases in GGR of 1.2 per cent and 1.7 per cent were reported for betting and land-based casinos.
Betting GGR rose to DKK2.21bn (£246.3m), up from DKK2.18bn (£243.3m), while land-based casino GGR rose from DKK362m (£40.4m) to DKK368m (£41.1m).
Gaming machines was the only vertical that showed a decline in GGR in Denmark across 2024, the figure dropping 1.2 per cent from DKK1.18bn (£131.2m) to DKK1.16bn (£129.7m).
