Kambi Group has confirmed the extension of its multi-year partnership with Dutch online gambling operator BetCity, with BetCity continuing to utilize Kambi's turnkey sports betting solution.
This renewal was conducted following BetCity's acquisition by Entain in 2022, aimed at solidifying its position in the regulated Dutch sports betting market.
The collaboration between Kambi and BetCity began in 2021, coinciding with the opening of the regulated online gambling market in the Netherlands.
Kambi CEO Werner Becher stated, "We are delighted to expand our cooperation with BetCity, a brand that has shown remarkable ambition since its inception. This agreement reflects the strong relationship we have built over the past few years and underscores Kambi's commitment to providing partners with the first-class technology and services needed to succeed in regulated markets."
BetCity CEO Vic Walia commented, "Since partnering with Kambi, BetCity has grown stronger and secured a prominent position in a competitive market. Kambi's advanced turnkey sports betting and high-quality services are key to our success, and we are pleased to continue this collaboration."
It is worth noting that the deal also ensures BetCity will continue to use the frontend technology of Shape Games, a division of Kambi Group, aimed at enhancing app functionality and user experience.
In January 2025, shortly after the official regulation of sports betting in Brazil, Kambi reached an agreement with cryptocurrency-focused operator Stake to provide turnkey sports betting in Brazil. This partnership enables Stake to integrate Kambi's sports betting in Brazil and other global markets.
Additionally, Kambi has expanded its product range through its Odds Feed+ product, which will be integrated into the platform of Brazilian fantasy sports operator Rei do Pitaco by the end of 2024.
