Las Vegas visitors said they waited hours simply to check into their room at Resorts World over the weekend, a problem that was prompted by a software upgrade gone wrong.

Resorts World, the most expensive resort ever built on the Vegas Strip at $4.3 billion, melted down on Friday night, NBC News reported. A planned computer software upgrade was supposed to be completed when business was slow between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, but by the busy weekend check-in time, the upgrade still wasn’t complete, the outlet reported. As a result, guests were left waiting at the check-in desk for hours while harried front desk workers attempted to manually get everyone into the system.
