The commander of the Technology Crime Suppression Division (TCSD) in Mueang Thong Thani, Nonthaburi, Major General Trairong Phiwpaen, and others revealed details of a major operation against a telecom fraud gang.
It was disclosed that on March 3rd, around 11:30, Thai police, based on a total of 102 arrest warrants, successfully brought back 93 suspects who were charged and arrested.
These suspects were involved in a transnational telecom fraud case. However, two arrest warrants for a Chinese boss within the gang have been issued, but these two suspects have already fled.
Among the 93 arrested suspects, 48 women are detained at the Technology Crime Investigation Department, while 45 men are detained at Pak Kret Police Station, Nonthaburi Police Station, and Thung Song Hong Police Station respectively.
