International Game Technology (IGT) announced that its subsidiary IGT Lottery has received the European Lotteries (EL) Responsible Gaming Certification for the sixth consecutive year.
This certification recognizes the supplier's commitment to responsible gaming practices, preventing underage gambling, and providing support for players who need assistance.
IGT Lottery also received the highest level of certification from the World Lottery Association (WLA) - Level 4 Certification.
The certification process involved an extensive evaluation of IGT Lottery's responsible gaming tools and activities in Italy. This included a rigorous assessment of IGT Lottery's responsible gaming practices, tools, and activities, all of which passed in ten key areas.
These ten assessment areas include player protection, prevention of gambling problems, and compliance with international regulations. IGT plans to continue innovating to protect its employees, products, and processes.
It is worth noting that IGT's responsible gaming program is in line with international practices and is regularly updated to meet evolving standards.
Marco Tasso, Chief Operating Officer of IGT Italy and International Sales and Operations, stated: "IGT Lottery receiving the EL Responsible Gaming re-certification for the sixth consecutive time and achieving the highest level of WLA certification demonstrates our position as a true global leader in the sustainable development field."
"'Acting responsibly' is crucial for our success as a lottery company and is at the core of our sustainability strategy. We will continue to innovate while operating with the highest level of integrity to protect our employees, products, and processes."
