FanDuel launched new product innovations ahead of the March Madness basketball tournament.
These improvements include an exclusive feature that allows bettors to combine selections from multiple rounds of the tournament into a single bet, and a new "Bet Back Token" that provides customers with a way to recover their bet if it does not unfold as expected.
The tournament parlay feature allows users to integrate various predictions into a single bet. Thus, customers can now bet on teams to advance to a specific round, win their region, or capture the championship title all in the same parlay.
This is the first time in sports betting to offer a feature that allows betting across multiple rounds of games, enabling bettors to transform their predictions about the games into bets.
Furthermore, FanDuel's "Bet Back Token" is designed to provide bettors with greater flexibility. If a bet does not go as planned, this token allows customers to reclaim their principal in the bonus bet.
Whether it's a poor performance in a parlay, a key player injury, or a team falling significantly behind in the later stages of the game, users can use the token up until the final moments of the match. The refund amount (subject to promotional restrictions) will be immediately returned as a bonus bet.
FanDuel's Senior Vice President and General Manager Karol Corcoran commented on these developments, saying: "The March tournament offers a whole month of high-stakes college basketball games, and although fans' brackets might be broken after one or two rounds of the tournament, their bets no longer need to be with the Bet Back Token.
"Combined with our unique multi-round parlay feature, this year we are offering unmatched flexibility to our customers."
These new features are a continuation of a series of developments recently made by FanDuel. For example, last month, the company partnered with Are You Watching This?! to integrate real-time sports event alerts into the FanDuel Sports Network platform, allowing users to receive notifications about critical moments in important games.
