According to the institution, this achievement reinforces the institution's commitment to transparency and security in the gaming industry, and they announced they are already working to reach the certification of the new version of the standard, WLA-SCS:2024, projected for 2026.
In the same meeting, Andrés Capdevielle, Head of Internal Control and Information Security at the Montevideo Betting Bank (La Banca), also shared the experience of his organization, which has the certification in Security Management granted by the World Lottery Association (WLA). His intervention emphasized the importance of adopting international standards to ensure trust and efficiency in information management.
For his part, Pablo Piriz, IT Manager of La Banca and member of the Technology and Security and Risk committees of Cibelae and WLA, presented an overview of the changes in the technical standard that will guide lotteries in the coming years. In that sense, Cibelae celebrated the achievements of these institutions and their contribution to the professionalization of the gaming industry in the region. "These milestones not only strengthen operational security but also highlight the value of cooperation and the exchange of experiences among the members of the corporation," they concluded.
