North American daily fantasy sports operator PrizePicks has received responsible gaming accreditation from the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG).
The NCPG’s Internet Compliance Assessment Program (iCAP) accreditation looks at responsible gaming and consumer protection practices.
The operator said it is the first in the daily fantasy sports arena to achieve the accreditation.
Achieving iCAP recognition involves an independent, comprehensive review of an operator’s responsible gaming policies and practices.
The process checks companies’ know your customer (KYC) protocols, staff training programs, responsible gaming tool offerings, customer service standards and regulatory compliance.
"This certification is a powerful recognition of the culture we've built at PrizePicks, and an incredible honour that underscores our unwavering commitment to putting player safety first," said Mike Ybarra, CEO of PrizePicks.
