Sports betting solutions provider Betby has launched a custom-made Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) league for esports operator CSGOEmpire.
The league, integrated into Betby’s Betby Games esports solution, “fully replicates” the lifecycle of a CS2 match, Betby said.
It follows a best-of-three format with a maximum of 24 rounds and overtime, as well as side switches, weapon purchases and bomb plants.
The league houses top teams from the HLTV ranking, which is used to measure player performance, as well as a special guest team representing CSGOEmpire’s brand owners.
The deal is part of Betby’s wider partnership with CSGOEmpire’s parent company Moonrail.
“We have meticulously designed this league to replicate the real dynamics of professional CS2 gameplay, ensuring that CSGOEmpire’s users enjoy an authentic and engaging experience that cannot be found anywhere else,” said Kirill Nekrasov, head of sportsbook product at Betby.
A CSGOEmpire representative added the new league “is a game-changer for us.”
“This exclusive league not only strengthens our brand identity but also provides our community with a truly unique betting product they won’t find anywhere else,” the spokesperson said.
