Former Thai national women's volleyball player Pleumjit Thinkaow has issued a statement through her fan page in response to a suspected fake news image. This image, featuring her photo, promotes and entices people to invest in an online gambling site, claiming that one can earn 20 million Thai Baht per month by investing.
On social media, Pleumjit stated: "Many people have sent me this information, pointing out that someone is using my name, videos, and photos to induce investment in gambling sites. Please do not believe these messages and help report them. I am currently gathering relevant evidence and will take legal action according to the law."
The case is currently under further investigation, and the police are pursuing the criminal activities carried out in her name.
