This brand appears to target customers in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam, and claims to be "the most trusted online casino in Asia."
The God55 website claims that the company is licensed by MGA and PAGCOR, but they use outdated logos and there are no certificate links.
Therefore, MGA calls this action "false and misleading" as it attempts to deceive customers into thinking that the God55 platform is regulated.
It is worth noting that God55 also claims that Mike Tyson is its brand ambassador, and uses his YouTube channel to promote possibly unauthorized programs on its website.
On the God55 YouTube channel, the website owner's location is listed as Russia.
The Malaysian Tax Authority emphasized in a statement: "The Malaysian Tax Authority reminds consumers not to use the services provided by the entity unless it is confirmed that the entity has been authorized by the Malaysian Tax Authority to provide such services.
"The gambling regulatory framework requires authorized personnel to comply with strict legal requirements to protect consumer interests.
"The activities of unauthorized entities are not regulated and do not provide the necessary safeguards outlined in the framework, thus transacting with such entities poses a risk to consumers."
