Bragg Gaming has signed an exclusive cooperation agreement with RapidPlay and acquired its strategic equity. RapidPlay, composed of seasoned professionals in the Brazilian industry, is dedicated to developing content for the Brazilian and Latin American markets, focusing on game performance and localization.
As part of the deal, Bragg will acquire equity in the studio as well as an exclusive commercial distribution agreement. This agreement will enable Bragg to integrate RapidPlay's game portfolio and offer it to its locally licensed operator partners. Moreover, all games developed in collaboration will utilize Bragg's Fuze technology, an interactive system that includes gamification and player retention tools.
Bragg also has the option to acquire controlling interest in the studio in the future.
This collaboration marks Bragg's entry into the market following the implementation of national online gaming regulation earlier this year. Although Bragg has already established partnerships with over a third of the legal operators in the market, this collaboration aims to further expand its partner base.
Regarding the transaction, Bragg Gaming Group's Chief Commercial Officer Neill Whyte stated: "The partnership with RapidPlay is not just an investment, but a strategic move to strengthen our differentiated local content proposition."
"The studio combines outstanding creativity with efficient operations, making it an ideal partner for our expansion in the region," added Whyte.
RapidPlay's CEO and co-founder Rafael Roos Bordignon added: "RapidPlay was founded with the purpose of creating a true Brazilian gaming experience.
Joining forces with Bragg will allow us to have a larger scale and structure, thus making a greater impact. We are excited to move into the next phase together."
