STS is the leading sports betting operator in Poland, acquired in 2023 by the global gambling giant Entain through its Central and Eastern European joint venture company, Entain CEE, becoming its subsidiary.
The corporate valuation of this transaction is approximately 690 million British pounds, aimed at expanding Entain's market share in Central and Eastern Europe.
Recently, STS announced the appointment of Ivan Gojic as its new Chief Sports Betting Officer. Gojić will also serve as the Vice President of Sports Betting for Entain Central and Eastern Europe Group, primarily responsible for operations in Poland.
Gojic brings more than 20 years of industry experience, including significant tenures at operators such as Superbet (where he has worked for the past eight years) and Ladbrokes.
His background encompasses expertise in professional gambling, trading, risk management, and product development in the iGaming field.
STS CEO Radim Haluza commented on this new appointment, saying: "We warmly welcome Ivan to our team. He is an outstanding expert in trading, risk management, and broad product development in the iGaming field."

This appointment comes at a time of significant changes in the leadership of the Entain Group, with several senior executives departing recently, including CEO Gavin Isaacs and executives from the Australia and New Zealand operations.
