The Dutch Gaming Authority (KSA) has issued a warning to 711 BV following a report from a concerned parent that the operator had placed advertising banners on a primary school homework website.

This violates the law, which states that operators must not place advertisements where vulnerable groups can see them.

The regulatory body noted, "The Dutch Gaming Authority (KSA) considers this form of advertising to be highly harmful, thus constituting a serious violation of the law."

The investigation found that the advertising campaign was managed by an external partner.

However, it was discovered that this third-party company had placed banner ads on multiple websites, at least partially targeting minors.

711 informed the Dutch Gaming Authority (KSA) that it had recognized this trend and was taking internal measures to prevent this from happening again.

Although the operator believes the issue is being addressed, it did not report the matter to the Dutch Gaming Authority (KSA), which is legally obliged to do so.

It is worth noting that there is a form on the Dutch Gaming Authority (KSA) website for citizens to report potentially harmful gambling business practices.

The Dutch Gaming Authority (KSA) news agency has issued a warning about this violation, as 711 has recognized the violation and taken measures.

However, the Dutch Gaming Authority (KSA) emphasizes: "When suppliers outsource advertising campaigns to external agencies, they still have a responsibility to comply with legal regulations.

"Regardless of whether an internal investigation is underway, the incident must be reported immediately.

"If there is a violation in the advertising sector, even if it involves external partners, the Dutch Gaming Authority (KSA) can take enforcement action."

Earlier, we reported another warning from the Dutch Gaming Authority (KSA), this time targeting the operator Gamusoft.

If Gamusoft does not take measures to prevent Dutch players from accessing its illegal online platform, it could face fines of up to 280,000 euros per week.
