Sportradar announced its preliminary financial results for the first quarter of this year, expecting revenue to be between 307 million euros and 311 million euros.
In fact, compared to the 265.9 million euros generated in the first quarter of 2024, this total revenue has increased by 14.3% to 15.6%.
Moreover, the adjusted EBITDA for the first quarter of 2025 reached between 56 million euros and 58 million euros, higher than the 47.2 million euros in the same period last year, and the quarterly profit for this quarter was between 20 million euros and 24 million euros, compared to a loss of 600,000 euros in the first quarter of 2024, also showing significant year-over-year growth.
As part of the latest announcement, Sportradar has confirmed that it will release its complete audited financial results for the first quarter of 2025 on May 12, with an earnings conference call scheduled for 8:30 AM Eastern Time in the US.
For Sportradar, the first quarter of this year has been a busy one. In January, Sportradar released its quarterly financial report, stating that the number of global match-fixing incidents would officially decrease in 2024. Shortly thereafter, Sportradar announced the extension of its cooperation agreement with Major League Baseball (MLB) in the US market, extending the previous partnership until 2032.
In February, after announcing additional agreements with BetMakers and Podium, Sportradar and Genius Sports were subsequently sued by Panda Interactive for alleged violations of antitrust laws.
It is worth noting that the supplier announced its financial results for the fiscal year 2024 in March, with revenue reaching 1.11 billion euros
As part of the annual financial announcement, the company also highlighted its intention to acquire the IMG Arena sports rights portfolio from Endeavor Group.
Recently, Sportradar extended its cooperation with the Brazilian Football Confederation until the 2025 season.
