Playtech has expanded its influence in the Ontario online gaming market by launching content from its subsidiary Eyecon in collaboration with operator SkillOnNet.
This move marks the first time Eyecon's games have been made available to players in Ontario.
Eyecon, known for slot games such as Fluffy Favourites, Temple of Iris, and Shaman's Dream, has over a decade of experience in the UK market and is now entering Ontario through its long-term partnership with SkillOnNet.
Eyecon's Commercial Director Paul Gielbert commented on the deal, saying: "Launching our games in Ontario with SkillOnNet is an important milestone in our group's strategy to expand into new markets.
"SkillOnNet is a key operator in the Ontario market, and we are thrilled to establish a strong partnership with them as the exclusive partner for this launch."
SkillOnNet's Head of Games, Jani Kontturi, added: "We are excited to expand our partnership with Playtech and bring Eyecon's exciting and high-performance games to the Ontario market.
"We are committed to providing the best and most comprehensive content collection on our platforms in all jurisdictions we operate, to build the best user experience."
It is worth noting that the launch in Ontario is just the beginning of Eyecon's entry into the Canadian market, with plans to collaborate with other operators in Ontario by 2025.
This expansion comes during an active period for Playtech, which recently launched over 120 bingo game sites in the UK in collaboration with ProgressPlay.
Shortly before, the company also appointed John Gleasure as the incoming chairman, with the annual general meeting scheduled for May 2025.
