Philippine police have recently made significant progress in the kidnapping and murder case of Chinese steel tycoon Guo Congyuan, offering a reward of 5 million pesos (about 620,000 yuan) for the arrest of Chinese national suspect Gong Wenli (also known as Huang Yanling or Kelly Tan Lim). This case has attracted attention due to the large amount involved and the brutal methods used.
Key Breakthrough in the Case
On April 25, police successfully intercepted two Chinese suspects attempting to escape by helicopter on Boracay Island:

Jack Wanchi, the director of the Western Visayas Police District, stated that the two claimed to be the parents of the main suspect, Gong Wenli, but due to the small age difference, the police are verifying their real relationship. Notably, they were accompanied by three male children, possibly including Gong Wenli's child.
