The Brazilian Ministry of Finance's Secretariat of Prizes and Bets SPA has signed a technical cooperation agreement with Integrity Compliance 360. This agreement is part of Brazil's efforts to combat sports betting fraud.
This is the fifth such agreement signed by SPA, following similar collaborations with other institutions in October 2024. IC360 will continue to work with SPA over the next five years.
This collaboration will focus on data exchange and raising awareness about the integrity issues in betting. IC360 will assist SPA in identifying potential match-fixing activities and is committed to enhancing transparency in the betting industry.
IC360 Chief Operating Officer Scott Sadin stated, "Our mission is to foster a culture of accountability and provide detection and early warning systems for all stakeholders to ensure the integrity of the Brazilian community is respected and sustainable."
It is worth noting that the agreement aims to focus on the security of the Brazilian sports betting system.
MF Secretary of Prizes and Bets Regis Dudena added, "Entities like IC360 play a crucial role in supporting SPA's activities, especially in identifying signs of match-fixing and structured information exchange.
"Through this agreement, SPA and its integrity partners will expand their monitoring and inspection capabilities, enhancing the industry's safety and transparency."
This move aligns with Brazil's recent regulatory changes, as shown by SPA's 2025-26 agenda and anti-money laundering requirements.
