The Thai Cyber Police held a press conference announcing the successful dismantling of an active online prostitution platform. This operation resulted in the arrest of 10 individuals involved and the seizure of related evidence worth over 200,000 Thai Baht, drawing widespread social attention.

The operation originated from a joint investigation by the Anti-Human Trafficking Division and the Central Investigation Bureau under the Royal Thai Police. The police had previously targeted an online prostitution website starting with the letter "F", where a dedicated intermediary facilitated transactions between sex workers and clients. An earlier crackdown had already resulted in several arrests.

However, soon after, the police received reports that the website had relaunched with a new URL and continued its illegal operations. The Thai Cyber Crime Investigation Department then initiated a new round of investigations and recently conducted raids in two locations in Nakhon Pathom and Pathum Thani provinces, successfully arresting 10 suspects, including one from Laos.

The police investigation revealed that the implicated platform openly recruited sex service providers, including women and the LGBTQ community, and assisted them in posting photos and advertising information. The intermediary extracted commissions as income. The investigation found that within just two months, the platform attracted over 2,000 applicants to post online sex service information, with estimated illegal financial transactions exceeding 10 million Thai Baht.

The Thai police emphasized that although many participants were voluntary, the operation of the platform still violated current Thai laws, and those responsible would face charges related to prostitution and other related offenses. Currently, the Thai Ministry of Digital Economy and Society has cooperated with law enforcement to block the website to prevent it from going online again.

The police stated that they would continue to expand the scope of the investigation, pursue other suspects at large, and focus on tracing the financial flows of the platform, legally seizing illegal profits and thoroughly dismantling its operational network.
