Soft2Bet's subsidiary ToonieBet recently launched a mobile sports betting service in Ontario, Canada, marking further expansion of this gaming operator in North America's only regulated market. The app is now officially available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, providing local players with a convenient sports betting channel.
The ToonieBet platform offers a wide range of betting options for players in Ontario, covering both local and international sports events. In addition to the mobile app, its official website has also launched a sports betting section. Soft2Bet's Chief Product Officer, Yoel Zuckerberg, stated: "We are honored to bring a tailored sports betting experience to the passionate player community in Ontario, marking an important milestone in our business development."
This launch continues Soft2Bet's strategic layout in the North American market. In March this year, the company entered into a partnership agreement with the NHL's Ottawa Senators, becoming the team's official online casino partner. Earlier, Soft2Bet had launched an iGaming brand in New Jersey and plans to further expand in the North American market by 2025.
It is noteworthy that the launch of ToonieBet was completed in collaboration with Caesars Group. Soft2Bet has also recently obtained operating licenses from regulatory authorities in Spain and Greece, showing that its global development strategy is steadily progressing.
Since Ontario opened its regulated market in 2022, it has become one of the most vibrant gambling markets in North America. According to the latest survey data from RGC, over 75% of residents in Ontario plan to bet on major sports events by 2025, indicating huge market potential. The addition of ToonieBet will provide more options for local players and will also intensify the competition in the province's sports betting market.
