The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) announced that the total gaming revenue in the state reached $544.7 million in June 2025, a 15.4% increase year-over-year. The growth was primarily driven by iGaming and sports betting, which offset a slight decline in traditional slot machine revenue.
iGaming revenue reached $212.6 million, up 32.3% year-over-year. Online slot revenue was $162.2 million, up 35.9%; table games and poker revenue were $47.6 million and $2.7 million respectively. Sports betting revenue saw a significant increase of 71.4% year-over-year, reaching $51.2 million, with online channels contributing $49.2 million.
Hollywood Casino led the revenue charts with $96.4 million, a 30% increase year-over-year. Valley Forge Casino followed closely with $93.5 million in revenue, up 46.3%, particularly strong in sports betting with a betting volume of $164 million and revenue of $23.2 million.
Despite the impressive performance of iGaming, physical slot machines remained the largest source of revenue, generating $199.3 million, though this was a 0.9% decrease from the previous year; retail table games revenue grew by 1.6%, reaching $77.3 million. VGT (Video Gaming Terminals) revenue slightly decreased to $3.4 million.
Although June's revenue was lower than the historical high of $601.8 million set in May, the overall performance was robust, reflecting a structural trend towards digital transformation in the state's gaming market. The year is expected to reach new heights.
