The Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (GRAI) is currently accepting applications for executive positions from the public, marking a new phase in regulatory and operational development.
This position will support the comprehensive regulatory and operational functions of GRAI.
GRAI is assembling an efficient team of executives to drive the agency's key initiatives in gambling regulation. Successful candidates will be directly involved in the various operational and developmental tasks of the newly established GRAI, contributing to its long-term operation.
This is a senior management position, primarily responsible for assisting GRAI in regulating gambling activities, protecting public safety, and raising awareness of gambling harms. The position requires candidates to report to senior management and is responsible for policy formulation, compliance monitoring, research, stakeholder communication, and administrative management.
The position may be assigned to licensing management, consumer protection, or technical departments, with specific responsibilities including writing reports, managing internal communications, coordinating projects, and handling data.

Applicants must have a Level 7 qualification or higher and at least three years of practical experience in the relevant field. Candidates should demonstrate excellent personnel management, data analysis, communication coordination, and delivery capabilities. Early retirees or those laid off due to public service cuts will be excluded, and applicants must also meet specified citizenship or residency requirements.
This recruitment follows the recent licensing guidelines issued by the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland, which require companies to notify at least 28 days before submitting an application. Additionally, Ireland and Gibraltar have recently signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at strengthening cross-border gambling regulatory cooperation and enhancing regional regulatory standards.
