A Brazilian player, after winning a prize of 169,000 Brazilian Reais (approximately 44,000 US dollars) on a gambling platform, faced the dilemma of being unable to withdraw the funds and subsequently sued the operator MCR 73 Investimento LTDA. However, after the court failed to contact the company, an official notice was issued summoning it to appear in court.

The player claimed that he accumulated the prize money while playing the popular gambling game Fortune Tiger on the platform, but suddenly the platform restricted the account's withdrawal function, and multiple communications were fruitless. He then filed a lawsuit in the Federal District and Regional Court of Brazil, demanding the platform to pay out the prize money.

However, after investigation, the court found that the operator's registered address and legal representative could not be verified, and official contact channels were also not functional. After attempting all conventional means of delivery without success, the court officially issued a notice, requiring MCR 73 Investimento LTDA to respond within 20 working days. If there is no response after the deadline, the court will, according to the Brazilian Civil Procedure Code, possibly accept the plaintiff's statements as established facts.

This incident has once again sparked widespread concern about the transparency of Brazilian gambling platforms and the protection of user rights. In the first half of this year, gambling tax revenue in Brazil has approached 4 billion Reais, indicating rapid industry growth, but the related regulatory mechanisms are still being perfected.

It is worth mentioning that several Brazilian internet celebrities, previously embroiled in controversy for promoting Fortune Tiger, were acquitted by the court earlier this year, with one individual having fled for two months before being arrested and brought to justice.
