At 0:30 AM on August 4, 2025, the Bangkok police in Thailand raided a rental house without a house number at Mingzha Art Intersection in Huiguang District, smashing an illegal Sic Bo gambling den and arresting 23 people on the spot, including 14 male and 9 female gamblers and one gambling organizer. Gambling tools and cash totaling 5,370 Thai Baht were seized at the scene. The main suspect claimed that the gambling had only been set up for 3 days.
This operation was jointly commanded by Colonel Parasong Ipani, the chief of Huiguang Police Station, and Colonel Wichai Songsakong, the head of the investigation department of the first police station in Bangkok. The police had previously received a tip from the public that illegal gambling activities were being organized in the Mingzha Art area of Sansengnuo District, and they immediately began to deploy.
On the day of the raid, when the police arrived at the scene, they found many people sitting around participating in Sic Bo gambling, creating a lively scene. After controlling the situation and conducting a search, it was confirmed that Ratchasak Hongsamacha was the dealer. He confessed that the gambling venue had only been operating for 3 days.
The items seized by the police included a set of Sic Bo bowls, a scoreboard, and 5,370 Thai Baht in cash. Currently, all the suspects have been transferred to Huiguang Police Station, and the police will legally process them for "illegal organization of gambling" and "group gambling."
